Abbot has changed a lot over the past two years. Originally, we built Abbot as an easy way to run scripts from chat in places like Slack, MS Teams, and Discord.

Earlier this year, our focus shifted towards helping out our customers who provide customer service in Slack, which is why we built things like conversation management.

Because we are a small team, we are no longer able to support both Slack and Discord, as we are focused more on Slack and Slack Connect support.

We will be deprecating support for Discord on Oct 14, 2024. We are choosing to remove support for Abbot in Discord instead of letting its quality of service slowly degrade. Please reach out to us at [email protected] if you are using Discord and have concerns.

We really appreciate those of you who used Abbot and gave us lots of great feedback. We’re sorry we can’t keep working on both platforms, but we’d love to return one day!
